GHRO is Busy!
Recently, GHRO has been working with new and long-term customers on exciting HR programs and projects. Here’s just a little bit of what we’re up to:
- Pittsburgh Job Corps Center’s management was recently awarded to our client Career Systems Development Corp. With this award, GHRO has contracted with CSD to support all of the Pittsburgh Job Corps Center’s HR support activities including on-boarding of staff, all employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, risk management, worker’s compensation, safety, government compliance, training and OD. We’re so happy to be a part of Pittsburgh’s transition and to welcome them to the CSD team!
- Safety Contract — OWLCO has hired GHRO to enhance the safety program at a number of their current customer’s locations. Under the Enhancement of the Current CSD Safety Program, GHRO will work towards the following goals:
- Communicating to all staff the results of accident and near miss investigations so that everyone can learn from the experience.
- Get employees more involved in the safety program by broadening participation in on-site Safety Committees. The idea of bringing more students into the process.
- Provide a system of progressive discipline for employees who fail to follow safety rules.
- Coordination with insurance provider in the completion and update of the CVSP and Fleet Safety Manual.
- Provide safety training materials. We will need to make employees accountable to ensure they get the required training.
- Coordination with insurance provider in providing annual safety inspections.
- GHRO coordinated an HR Summit for our client CSD to educate and update their location HR managers on new benefits and current HR regulations. Keeping our client informed and on the same page as their corporate offices has proven to be quite successful to our customer.
- GHRO Total Solutions
- Lawsuits. Through GHRO’s recent coordination of legal efforts, our customer received two additional summary judgements in their favor. Lawsuits happen everyday. GHRO knows how to protect, document and do the HR job correctly so that you don’t have to worry about not being prepared when you have to go to court.
